Film and I

About movies I have not a favorite subject. For that I like a movie depends on the time and emotional state that I have. For example, when I was a child I watched a Chinese film "A bullet in the head" of John Woo, which combines martial arts with a story about loyalty and betrayal of a group of friends after a war. This film takes about four hours, but I was very interested and connected with the story. I recommend you watch it.
A great film of my adolescence stage was "Good bye Lennin," a German film that is a great story about a socialist woman in a coma that wakes up after the fall of the Berlin Wall, but their children pretending keep her in East Germany, a situacion exciting and very funny. This movie was special because at that moment I was defining my political stance, and because I watched whith old friend with very special in my life.
About Chilean films I think that they are still in a stage of exploring topics "taboo" after the militar regimen, still do not address other areas. I think they are still far from reaching a more refined stage. Anyway my favorite movie is "Machuca" has a good script and a great story...

  1. Good by Lenin is such a great film!
Clever, subtle, funny..And it offers a interesting point of vue on the fall of the Berlin Wall, very close from the reality.
I'm found of this actor, Daniel Bruhl. He also acts in the last Tarantino, Inglorious Bastards.
